Alexander House 1957

This project involves the restoration and refurbishment of a Mid-century Modern house at Avalon Beach, Sydney.

The house is owned by Trace Architects founder, Graeme Bell. Built in 1957 and designed by the Architect Loyal Alexander for himself, his wife and two children. The mid-century residence remains largely intact and embraces the key principles of Modernist residential Architecture.

New work includes a sympathetically designed master bedroom wing, swimming pool and landscaped gardens.
